Baked Beans Miniature Dachshunds

About Us

Our Story Starts With One Very Determined Dachshund.

Baked Beans was born from a lifelong love of dachshunds and the belief that the best puppies are raised as family first. Our dogs are part of our everyday lives, and every little Bean is raised with love, attention, socialization, and a focus on health and temperament. Our goal is simple: raise happy, confident miniature dachshunds and thoughtfully match them with families who will love them just as much as we do.

Our Story

Why Baked Beans exists.

For us, Baked Beans didn’t start with the idea of starting a business. It started with a little girl who grew up surrounded by Dachshunds.

When I was young, my parents raised Dachshund litters, and some of my earliest memories are filled with those little legs, big personalities, and wagging tails. Even during the years when my family wasn’t raising puppies, Dachshunds never really left our lives. They were everywhere—at my parents’ house, with my grandparents, my aunts, my cousins. Somehow, there was always a weenie dog nearby.

And I loved every bit of it.

I knew from a young age that someday, when I had a family and a home of my own, I wanted to raise Dachshunds too. Not simply because they were the breed I grew up with, but because I understood what makes them so special. They’re stubborn, hilarious, affectionate, fiercely loyal, endlessly curious, and somehow capable of fitting an unbelievable amount of personality into such a tiny body.

Then I found Frankie.

I knew almost immediately that she was the bean for me. Frankie brought all of those childhood memories rushing back and reminded me exactly why I had always loved this breed so much. She became the beginning of something I had dreamed about since I was little—and eventually, the beginning of Baked Beans.

Today, Baked Beans is our way of continuing a tradition that has been part of my family for generations. We want to raise happy, healthy, deeply loved Dachshunds and give other families the chance to experience the same kind of companionship that these dogs have given mine for my entire life.

Because to us, they aren’t just puppies. They’re family. They’re memories waiting to happen. And every family deserves to find their bean.

Raised in Our Home

Family members, not inventory.

  • A variety of surfaces underfoot
  • Early socialization with our family
  • Age-appropriate enrichment
  • Normal family life, not a kennel

Our Philosophy

Four things we will not compromise.
